Meet Abigail

Abigail graduated from Northern California's Heartwood Institute of Healing in 1982. She then spent 17 years doing clinical massage on the island of Maui.

After moving back to her hometown of Sacramento to be near her family, Abigail opened American River Therapeutic Massage in 2006.

This massage done primarily on the feet of specific pressure points that correlate to specific muscles and organs of the body is suitable for all ages and brings relief from a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.
Reflexology reduces stress, improves blood circulation, stimulates nerve function, improves the immune system, increases energy levels, and eases pregnancy and delivery.
With hot towels and aromatherapy your face will feel the healing effects of the specific massage technique for muscles of your face neck and decolletage. The treatment will tone your muscles, boost circulation, help reduce sinus pressure, and releases toxins
Trained by pregnancy massage experts at No Ka Oi Associates on the Island of Maui Abigail is sensitive to the specific massage needs of pregnant mothers.
The treatment leaves a positive impact with breathing, calming and bonding, and visualization techniques for mother to-be with the child and their baby.
